THE WING-ROOF HOUSE| situated in a beautiful area in Arges county, the design is a contemporary version of the traditional hills hut. The 2-slopes roof is reversed and used as two "bird wings", hovering over the house, creating a covered outside veranda and directing the rain water to one collecting point. The materials used: wooden cladding and stone for the ground slab cladding are taken from the surrounding areas and match the local building typology. The house has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom - all on the groundfloor.
